It has five different light output/power configurations offering a wide variety of output and burn times. Users have the option of operating the Switchback from either the 2 AA-cell headset or a unique 4 C-cell external battery pack. The two independent power supplies offer a totally redundant backup system and burn times ranging from 5 to 300 hours.
